Devlog, Feb 5 '21: process


This game was made with Twine, and uses the Harlowe 3.2.1 format.

Narrative structure
This story uses a linear narrative without any alternative outcomes. so clicking on the link at the end of a passage just leads to the next one.


Some passages use multiple text reveals on the same page:


Each link-reveal macro is nested within the previous one, so new lines of text only appear when highlighted words are clicked.

Visual design
Passages also have tags assigned to them, and each tag has its own background colour setting in the stylesheet. As time progresses and the sun sets during the story, the background goes from yellow to purple.
