  • Context:
    • Before a conversation begins, the player will be provided with background information about who they are, who the other character is, and what their conversation will be about.
  • Response timer: you have 15 seconds to choose one of three responses. Failing the timer will result in the NPC’s doubt metre increasing.
  • Point system:
    • Each response has a hidden number that contributes to your final score at the end of the level.
  • NPC systems:
    • NPCs have a doubt metre that increases varyingly when you:
      • Say something aggravating.
      • Say something contradicting a previous statement.
      • Don’t respond at all.
  • Win state:
    • If the player successfully finishes a conversation without the NPC’s doubt metre reaching a 100%, they’re awarded a score based on their performance.
  • Fail state:
    • If the NPC’s doubt metre reaches a 100%, the player fails the level.
